Website Visitors
When someone visits www.scothosts.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. If we do collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be transparent about this. We will make it clear when and what personal information we collect and will explain what we intend to do with it.
We also use a third-party tool, Lead Forensics, to collect information on which organisations are visiting our site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify an individual. Data is gathered and processed through cloud services located in several countries around the world, including Ireland, Germany and the USA. Data is sent to and stored in a central database located in the UK which is operated by Lead Forensics. It is not sent or stored anywhere else.
Job Applications
To provide you with relevant employment opportunities with Scothosts, we need to process certain information about you. We only ask for details that will help us to help you, such as; your name, contact details, education details, address, employment history, immigration status and salary or day rate.
Where appropriate, and in accordance with local laws and legislations, we may also collect information related to your health, diversity and details of any criminal convictions. All data collected is solely used by Scothosts staff only to inform you of any relevant job opportunities with Scothosts that fit your requirements. We will not share any of the information you provide with outside sources without your permission.
If we have not had meaningful contact with you for a period of two years, we will delete your personal data from our system unless we believe in good faith that the law or other regulation requires us to preserve it (for example, because of our obligations to tax authorities or in connection with any anticipated litigation)
